Prof. Sen. Ike Ekweremadu, the former deputy president of the senate and the senator representing Enugu west senatorial district has embarked on inspection of constituency projects in Enugu west.
Areas visited were erosion control site at Agungwu Ugwuoba along Enugu-Awka old road, Ameke Umueze water scheme, Ishike-Umuezeagu road and Ozoechine road to eke shop by St. John’s Anglican Church Obinofia Ndiuno all in Oji River and Ezeagu local government area, Enugu State.
Speaking shortly after the inspection, Sen. Ekweremadu reiterated that he will do everything within his powers to ensure that all the projects attracted to Enugu west senatorial zone under his watch are completed in a record time. He also emphasized that the tour was part of his plan to inspire and mentor aspiring leaders in his constituency.
He extolled Rt. Hon Toby Okechukwu and Rt. Hon Dennis Oguerinwa Amadi, member representing Aninri/Awgu/ Oji River and Udi/Ezeagu federal constituencies for their corroborative role in the infrastructural revolution of Enugu west senatorial district.
