It’s Nkanu’s turn for Governorship in 2023, Says Hon. Edeani, National President, Nkanu Youth Assembly

June 12 have been described as the foundation for present day democracy liberation in Nigeria.
The statement was made by the National President of the NKanu Youth Assembly, Enugu State, Hon. Edeani Maduabuchi. Edeani in a chat with Bende Analyst.

He stated that the freedom of speech, valuation of government or elected officers performance will be attributed to the democratic process as obtained through the June 12 struggle.
To him every Nigerian should be enthusiastic about June 12, as that was the channel which redeemed the nation from the military ruler, and birth the breath of democracy from 1999 till date.

On the achievements of the Nkanu Youth Assembly under his leadership, Hon. Edeani said that they have been able to achieve a lot in seeing that the Youths in Nkanu are not left behind in the present government of Enugu State.
Indicating that through his leadership, they have been able to produce Special Assistance (SA), Senior Special Assistance (SSA) Personal Assistant (PA) to the State Governor.

Mr. Edeani further stated that they have also break a landmark in this Covid 19 pandemic as they carried out palliative project in all the villages in Nkanu land, with the collaboration of the lgwes and PG’s of the villages.

Speaking further on the performance and leadership quality of the Enugu State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, since he assumed office as the Governor and as it affects Nkanu people, the National President of NYA, affirmed that the Governor is up and doing. That although the Governor is from Nsukka, yet is a person that shows no discrimination and he is making sure that Nkanu people are not left behind in his government.

Commenting on the 2023 Governorship election in the State, Hon. Edeani pointed out that it is the turn of Nkanu people based on the mutual agreement reached in the State on the Zoning fomula.
Stressing that for 16 years, the Nkanu people have been patient and he is positive that every other zone will support Nkanu, he added.
